Writing Tutoring & Enrichment

Provide activities/experiences that incorporate:

• Receptive and expressive language skill development focusing on the close connection between writing, reading, speaking and listening.

• Integrated and purposeful phonics, grammar, and spelling instruction.

• Structured practice in the building blocks of writing including vocabulary acquisition and the construction of sentences and paragraphs.

• Timely and expert feedback on writing assignments that focuses on the components of effective writing including: ideas, organization, sentence variety and conventions including grammar and punctuation.
